The imminent D* day....


The long-awaited day is finally arriving. I dunno if i'm exactly looking forward to the release of results. On one hand, i want to know the results so tt it might help in my job applications. On the other hand, i'm scared of facing the reality. Afraid tt i might not get the grades tt i want. People always say, " You can do it,Michelle". I can only try to be as optimistic as possible.

High hopes = huge disappointment

I'll have to stay grounded. Some of my frens have already secured a job,so the results wld not affect their job. For me,it pivots on my grades. It wld help so much if i got tt 2nd upper class. But to get tt,i need ALL 4subs this yr to be >60 !! Geez.. Not easy at all.

If i dun meet tt requirement, it will be just a 2nd lower class honours.. Which is not exactly good.
Still waiting for phone calls for interviews. I still do look ard for jobs. Just tt,waiting for the date of release of the results is nerve-wrecking! Hmmmm......

To all at SIM.. you guys must be as anxious as me. Geez.. When on earth are the results coming out? As it is,we are on the losing end compared to other uni grads.. Bummer!

26th August - Dearie's 24th bdae...

Spent the weekend celebrating my dear's bdae. We went to Pepper Lunch for the tantalizing Curry Beef Rice. Yummy! Met dear's bro at Kino for the 2nd time this mth..Sg is real small. Bought American Choco and Wild Cherries ice-cream frm Gelatossimo. Great desserts for such a hot weather like yest. Slyves have not had his lunch when we met him,so we headed to NYDC. Ordered onion rings,Slyves had pasta and we ordered one of their famous mudpies (Band Aid). Though Edwin and I were real full,we couldn't say no to this reallllyyyyyy nice mudpie..Lots of nuts and raisin! =) I was so engrossed with enjoying the mudpie,tt i forgot to take some pics of it!

Ohh..I met Adrian at Paragon while shopping ard! Haven't met him since exams.. Someone's doing good now..A Banker! Geez..the gals must flocking to u now eh,dude? LOL! Great to see u and knw tt u are doing well. I knw,I knw... Our exam results will be released within these 2weeks.. I'm anxious!!!

Met Rongyin and made our way back to Edwin's place. We had Fuzhou's famous ang zao,Classic Italian and Singapura Special pizzas and Swensen's Special ice-cream cake for dinner! Wah! I had such a great day.. with all the mouth-watering fab food! *winks*

Insomia kicks in...

Insomia has been part of my lifestyle recently. Deprivation of sleep renders me cranky. I may feel tired every night when i lay in bed,getting ready to fall asleep but i just can't seem to fall asleep as easily as before. I toss and turn until the wee hours in the morning. Sara.. I'm like you now.. Hahaha!

As if it is not bad enough, I have weird dreams and sometimes nightmares. Dreams that i have no recollection of when i wake up. Since i can't put my finger to its content, sometimes i just assume that it did not actually happen.

Dreams often portray events which are impossible or unlikely in physical reality, and are usually outside the control of the dreamer. Similar to alot of people, I too have sought meaning in my dreams. I guess dreams are a response to neural processes during sleep, psychologically as reflections of the unconscious or even predictions of the future.

In restrospect, I guess it doesn't really matter what ur dreams are about. I believe in destiny. If it is meant to happen,it will. Sometimes the dream does become reality and i will go like, " Deja Vu! " Hahaha! I guess my crankiness is taking charge soon.. blabbering now...

What do you expect? Doing the same-o stuff everyday at home...Honestly,i feel incapacitated to a certain extent. It's antagonizing! Since i'm free like a bird,i might as well work my ass off. Exercise till i could no longer. Today will be the start. I've not pushed myself for a long time. I love the adrenalin rush! The endorphins makes one happy and that is what i need,what i crave.....

Weekend Sentosa Trip~!

Went to suntan @ Sentosa with my dear. It was crowded as usual and there was some Family Day event going on too. Had to walk around for a while to find a quiter place to enjoy the sun,sand and sea. The trip was cut short due to a drizzle. Bummer! However,I had a great time.

After showering, we headed to town to satisfy our rumbling stomachs. LOL! We were famished,alright. Ordered Japanese noodles,A1 Curry puffs and Tako Pachi! And what's a good meal without the desserts? Well,we ordered 2diff flavours of ice-cream from Gelato(Dark Choco and Hazelnut). Heavenly! *winks* =)

The long-awaited EPL season has finally started! Shef. United vs Liverpool is the 1st game. Liverpool!! They had a disappointing match and only managed a draw..A controversial one too! Geez.. It's alright! This is a competition of 10mths. The Reds will hang on and fight for the Premiership title! =)

Perservance is the path to the success...

The above was said to me by my best friend, Davis. The search for a full-time job is infuritating. It's getting on my nerves so much tt i keep lamenting the same things and worries to my boyfriend and friends. Thank you everyone for being so patient and understanding with me. Thanks for all the valuable advice. I really do appreciate it.

Some think that is a smooth sailing and easy process. Some don't bother to understand. I comprehend why. So many of my friends have gotten a job,some of them landed themselves in pretty good ones. I'm happy for them,trust me when i say so. However, I have to admit. I'm envious. Perhaps luck is one contributing factor. A large one,i reckon.

Sorry,my dear and my close friends for my mood swings these days. I dun wanna be like this too. I will perserve everyone! Up and on! =)

Almost A Week Since My Last Entry...


Thursday...
It was my mum's off-day,so i spent the day with her. Nothing much...just went out..Mother & daughter.. went for a hair-cut and visit my nephew @ Serangoon.
Baby Jayden's sooooo cute! He will grow up to be a charmer like my dear cousin,Adeline and her hubby,Jeremy.. =) I'm clueless when it comes to carrying a baby.. As u can see from the pics.. Jayden don't look too happy.. He was probably praying that i would pass him back to his grandma.. Hahaha....

Saturday...

Headed to my dearie's place after making breakfast for him. =) Hope u really liked it,dearie. It wasn't much. Just toast,eggs,ham and cheese. We went down to Suntec to shop around for jigsaw puzzles. Sadly,there was not much choices around or rather..only a few designs caught our eye. Geez! Jigsaw puzzles are costly man! 100+ bucks for a 2000 puzzle frame.. Didn't buy anything in the end. Met up with Sylves,Rongyin and dear's mum to shop for some groceries. Sylves is the chef today. He is cooking pasta for us. Rongyin made the garlic butter bread spread too! Woo....Fantastic dinner. Alot of ingredients were included in the pasta.. I just hung around the kitchen to catch a glimpse of the chef in action and help spread the garlic butter. Thanks for dinner, Sylves and Rongyin. It was really nice... Yummy...!! =)

Sunday...

Slept till real late today..11am,i guess.. Made my way to dearie's house.. =) going to his place to make caramel pudding today. Haven't made it in years.. Worried tt it wouldn't turn out as i wanna it to be. Went to Causeway Pt for lunch and to get the neccessary ingredients for the caramel pudding.. Brown sugar,flour,milk,ice-cream,dates and butter... Kinda fumbled around the kitchen.. LOL! =) prepared the caramel sauce and the filling with the help of my dearie..Thanks,dear! Was so worried tt it wouldn't be successful.. After an hour of preparing and baking, the caramel pudding is done. I put too much brown sugar,causing the caramel sauce to be too sweetttttttt...... Goodness! I'll watch it next time..Sorry to everyone who tried it. Was contemplating of adding apples and nuts (in replacement of the dates) the next time round. =)

Another Fabulous Weekend~~ !!

Finally the weekend is here! Went to Baybed Bar to chill with my dear,his brother(Sylvester) and his gf(Rongyin). Nice cosy beds,warm lighting,chill out music and great drinks. This place is good for its Martini. I had a really good lychee martini. =)
Went for prata @ Thomson Rd. Shared a prata kosong with Rongyin. Haha! We were both afraid of the fatty late night supper but my dear and Sylves went for it! Lol! There are more pics but they are with Rongyin and Sylves..

Sunday...
Left home early and head down to Sim Lim Square with dearie to get comp memory.
After tt,we went to California Pizza Kitchen for to die for food! We ordered the Milan Neapolitian Pizza. It has grilled Italian sausages,sweet Italian sausages,caramalized onions,sauteed wild mushrooms and 3 types of cheese(Parmesan,Mozzarella and Fontina)! Absolutely heavenly! Every bite is filled with sausages,mushrooms and cheese. Tantalizing! Yummy! =)

We had desserts to end this fab lunch and it just gets better! We had Tiramisu and Banana Chocolate Royale Cake which we struggled to finish! The desserts are just divine... All the choco fudge on the Banana Chocolate Cake and the taste of alchohol in the tiramisu... Wah..
The pizza and the desserts are the best i've ever had. I'll definitely come back for more soon..
What makes it even better is tt i had all these in the company of my one and only... =)
